    As is vividly revealed in the bar chart, some noticeable changes have taken place in terms of the proportion of  population aged 65 and over in France and Russia from the year of 1950 to 2010. According to the figures provided by the chart, one can see that from 1950 to 2010, the percentage of population aged 65 and over in France experienced a slight increase from 5% to 11%; while the percentage of Russia rose sharply from 8% to 20% during the same period.

    It is of no difficulty to come up with some possible factors for the situation. To begin with, the promotion in incomes and living standards plays a crucial role in the situation, which brings about people’s greater emphasis on the health. Regular body check, balanced diet and everyday exercise contribute to people's living longer. In addition, it has a lot to do with the turning of people's attitude. A growing number of people, especially in developed countries, are unwilling to give birth to babies.

    Through the argument above, we can easily come to conclude that the tendency will continue to exist. Consequently, the government related should put sufficient focus on the issue of aging society and younger generation should try to create a good living environment for the elderly.

    What is shown in the pie chart above depicts certain citizens’ different shopping channels. As is revealed by the chart, the largest part represents online shopping, accounting for 57%. By comparison, the percentage of purchasing in malls shares 32%, while TV shopping and overseas purchasing respectively make up 3%, 8%.

     From my perspective, this phenomenon that online shopping is so popular can attribute to complicated factors, with the following on the top list. To start with, it is undoubted fact that with the advance of science and technology, online shopping, to some degree, seems more quick, simple and convenient; for people can browse and compare large quantities of goods at the same time. Furthermore, that online goods are relatively cheaper is evidently another contributing force. Additionally, we may owe the popular online shopping to the booming express industry, which has largely shortened the time span on the way.

    From what has been discussed so far, I think that online shopping is predicted to maintain favorable and preferable in the long run.
